Due to flooding at the Environmental Center, today's field trip has been postponed. Mrs. Frantum's and Mrs. Armiger's classes will go on the field trip on another date. We are trying to reschedule those classes for tomorrow or Friday of this week. Once we have confirmation, we will send a follow-up email. Mrs. Brian's class is still scheduled as planned to go tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding that this was out of our control.

This week we are celebrating the Week of the Young Child in Pre-K with special activities each day. On “Make it Monday” we created art using unique materials.
Students are completing an epic 18 hole glow golf challenge in PE this week with Mr. Hester! Students are focusing on safety with their club, sportsmanship, and keeping count of golf strokes.
Our 4th Graders kicked off the week in Math by working in teams on their vertical whiteboards to solve a fraction comparison exemplar using the problem solving procedure!

Calendar Reminder: Monday, April 13, half day for students (newly scheduled)
Friday, April 10 - Due to fog in the area, schools will be operating on a two hour delay. In addition, today will now be a full day of school rather than the originally scheduled half day. Please be safe in your travels.

Due to an auto accident in Denton, buses serving Denton, Ridgely, and Greensboro Elementary Schools could be delayed in picking up students this morning. Please note, no buses were involved in the accident. Please be patient, and we will provide updates regarding buses if needed.

Mrs. Mitchell’s 4th Graders modeled plate tectonics and how they move to create mountains, volcanoes, earthquakes and ocean trenches using graham crackers and marshmallow fluff.
Good Afternoon RES Families, just a reminder that tomorrow, 3/19, is Spring Picture Day. As was the case last year with Lifetouch, all students will have their picture taken. The 5th grade Panorama Picture will also be taken.

Monday, March 16 - Due to impending inclement weather this afternoon, Caroline County Schools will close early today. Dismissal times are 1:00 pm for middle and high schools, and 2:00 pm for elementary schools. All afterschool activities are cancelled. Please be safe in your travels.
