Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, all schools will be operating on a two hour delay. 

Please NOTE: Families within the town limits of Ridgely and Hillsboro - Transportation is currently working to reroute some bus stops in these two areas. Please expect a call this evening from your bus driver or the department with information on temporary bus stop locations. Thank you for your patience.

Just a friendly reminder, Class Picture Day is Monday, February 2nd. Please see the attached image for ordering information.

Our custodial staff has been hard at work helping to clear the snow and ice from the RES sidewalks. It has been a cold and difficult process and they have made great strides. Thank you to our awesome staff for their hard work!

All schools will be closed on Thursday, January 29. All offices will open at 10:00 am for 12 month employees. Please be safe in your travels.

Good Evening RES families. Due to an earlier incident not involving the elementary schools, Bus 59 is running behind schedule. A replacement bus will be arriving shortly to take students who ride Bus 59. We expect the bus to be running about 15-20 minutes behind schedule. We appreciate your patience. Thanks Mr. Evans

Our Terriers are working hard on their math skills!

Weds., Jan. 7, 2026 - Caroline County Public Schools will be operating on a two hour delay due to fog throughout the county. Please be safe in your travels.

Students are enjoying the Ridgely Arcade in PE class this week. We have Air Hockey, Air Pong, Pool, Just Dance Battles, and even Skee Ball!
