Prior to the start of school on September 8, RES will provide each student a packet of instructional materials which will include the items that teachers would typically request for the classroom such as pencils, crayons, notebooks, etc. We will be scheduling drive through opportunities for families to pick up these materials to use at home during virtual learning.The packets will be enough to begin the school year. As we move forward, it may be necessary for families to replenish/replace some materials for home if we continue in virtual learning.
Many thanks to RES PTA who have graciously supported this effort by purchasing many of the classroom supply items. Other items are being provided by the CCPS and of course, RES.
The CCPS Parent Questionnaire – we request all families ll this out ONCE per student in your household. Details about this important questionnaire are below this message.
Please note CCPS 2020-2021 calendar which has changes made by the Board of Education at their August meeting.
If you have borrowed a CCPS technology device – Please schedule an appointment with the front office to return the device immediately. The devices need to be updated and refreshed for the start of the school year.
8/17 Beginning Monday, August 17, RES front office hours will return to Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
8/24 During this week, we will mail the letter with your student’s assigned classroom teacher (kindergarten – grade 2) or partner teacher pairs (grades 3 – 5) for the 2020-2021 school year. Pre- kindergarten teachers will contact student families directly after the teachers have returned to school at the beginning of September.
